This Flag is for the families of lineman to fly outside their house. I came up with this idea because I personally want a flag with a lineman on it. Some elements of this piece are the stars and stripes of the flag. I think the idea of a flag with a filled in embroidery of the lineman would be a very successful design jest because I haven't seen one yet and would appreciate having one flown outside the house.
For all the line wifes and girlfriends. Text options available for those without a ring but still want to show the love. I came up with this idea because I personally use my yetis all the time and would love one with this design on it. I think the most successful part of this piece is how well the text choice goes with the occupation.
I chose to put my logo on this hoodie because I feel as though it's a design and color the guys would wear. Also I feel the color of logo and design flowed well with the color of sweatshirt and flag. This is to represent the occupation outside of working. To show off the dangerous hard working person you are.
This one's for the lineman. Represent the danger you put yourself in by showing it on your hat. I came up with this idea from the linemen in my life because they all wear the same camo baseball hats so why not put something on it that represents them. The spacing in the text is meant to fill the empty area next to the pole. I think the text choice along with colors and spacing was successful in this design because it flows well.
I think the text selection flows very well with the logo design and idea of power. I got this idea from constantly seeing worn out front plate covers. I feel as though the texture in this piece goes well with the idea and personality of the job.
I chose to focus on lineman apparel for my Area Of Concentration. I personally have multiple men in my life that chose this occupation. The idea of representing them has become more and more popular through “line wives” with etsy pages creating decorations and apparel. More about the occupation… Being a lineman includes risking your life everyday you're on the job. I have heard many times that someone died on the job today. Therefore we like to represent the men who give your house, work, schools, hospitals, and everything else, power so that we can survive. This topic is important to me because my step dad, uncle, and boyfriend have all decided to go into this field and risk their lives everyday. My mom and I love supporting them with all the love and comfort we can give them. We love our linemen and want to represent them and heres a few small ideas of how we can show them off.
